DataStage is an extension of the DataFlow project, in collaboration with the University of Oxford. During the DataFlow project, two pieces of software were brought up to production stage for instant deployment: DataStage (which allows researchers to manage their data) and DataBank (which handles the submission and retrieval of datasets to the cloud).

After the end of the project, an extension was agreed with JISC to give us the opportunity to spend some more time on the sustainability of the DataStage client environment.

Cottage Labs is working to de-couple the SWORDv2 deposit aspects of the client into a stand-alone module which can then be maintained separately from the rest of the application.
